The opportunity 

Reporting to the VP. Sales and Marketing, we are looking for a technology sales leader to join us as an Account Executive on our Statistical and Visualization for Engineering & Science (SAVES) team in or near Dusseldorf. With fluency in German, industry connections, and a proven record of exceeding your quotas, you will take ownership for top-tier named global accounts. You will develop strategic cross sell and upsell strategies for existing customers and penetration strategies for new prospects. In addition, you will facilitate and maintain successful relationships with customers at all levels, increasing revenue.

More than 500,000 researchers have used SigmaPlot because it provides the flexibility to create compelling graphs you simply can't get from a basic spreadsheet package. Users love the ability to interactively modify any small detail of the final graph to make it the perfect presentation of their data. Huge Pharma Companies such as Roche, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, and Novartis have been using our products for decades. What do you bring?

  • The sales drive. You have 5+ years of success in SaaS and solution sales with a proven track record of prospecting and closing new business. You have experience in new markets and leveraging existing relationships to expand stickiness. You thrive in an autonomous role, managing your leads in a CRM and connecting with the right people internally and externally to grow your network, knowledge, and client list. 
  • The strategic approach. You may be competitive, but you have a deep appreciation for the team you work with. You are open to feedback, change, and learning from those around you. You can strategically grow B2B relations and create value propositions, positioning our solutions as best in class.
  • The interpersonal skills. You have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills in German and English. You are comfortable in face-to-face meetings, making phone calls, and responding to inquiries across multiple channels. You are consultative, patient, and solution-oriented, never losing sight of the big picture. You can gain trust to influence decision-makers, focusing on building and nurturing relationships.
